In Africa in general the social structure is very weak, so that people with disabilities generally experience extreme suffering, most of them for their entire lives, from early childhood to the fateful days of old age. The economic situation is not always favourable, even for people without disabilities who have a job, due to the high cost of living. Many of these disabled people grow up without education, and without any possibility of having a better future one day, yet the advanced society of mankind offers, through knowledge, countless possibilities to accompany these disabled people from their early years, in all areas of life, regardless of their disability; so that over time they are not only independent, but also productive for the society and therefore for the ́économie of their country. Unfortunately, even when personal efforts are made by private structures in the field to remedy this situation, the enthusiasm for support, whether by private partners of all kinds (banks, companies, etc.) is so low on the (African) continent that the impact of the efforts made is almost non-existent, and very often punctual or short-term.
The future of small social initiatives, although very often the bearers of very big visions, remains very uncertain because of an extreme timidity in the accompaniment of both potential private partners and the government. This is the reason why we wish, through our association, to find among the world public a massive adhesion to our vision which aims not only to make God’s Love known to men, through evangelisation, but also to invest deeply in the development of social infrastructures, sustainable and with a high and deep impact in countries with weak social structures such as Cameroon where we already support certain initiatives and have already some actions.
For example, the construction of a large, well-equipped school for the training and supervision of the disabled would, in a nation like Cameroon where social infrastructures are almost non-existent, have a very great positive impact on the lives of a large number of disabled people in the nation, but also on the general social and economic life of the nation.
