According to the information accessible through the google search engine, the number of Christians in the world, all denominations and orientations combined, is estimated at the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 to be around 2.4 billion people, out of the approximately 7.5 billion people living on earth at the same time. However, these figures only take into account the simple declarations of the people counted under this statistic. Whether they were born again, practising this faith or not. In this same statistic, Catholics alone are estimated at 1.329 billion, or 55.375% of the total Christian population; Orthodox Christians, whose appearance and practice is much closer to that of Catholics, represent 264 million people, or 11% of the total; Jehovah’s Witnesses number 5 million,
i.e. 0.2%; Mormons are also counted, estimated at 15 million, i.e. 0.6%, and Evangelical Christians, who also include all the Pentecostal movements, are estimated at 660 million, i.e. only 27.5% of the total Christian population; when one considers that of all these orientations, Evangelicals are more faithful to the word of God in the Bible (Sacred Book of Christians). They are also those in whose midst we very often observe the action of the Holy Spirit through signs, miracles, healings, as well as the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit such as the gift of prophecy or speaking in a heavenly language, also called the language of angels, as described in several passages of the Bible and more particularly in the New Testament which contains the biblical covenant that we are still living today. The rest of the 5.325% missing from the Statistics to make a total of 100% corresponding to the 2.4 billion of the total Christian population, can be attributed to all the other orientations little known to the general public.
However, if we put aside all those in this statistic who claim to be Christian because once or twice a year they go to church with their family, or because they go to church not out of conviction due to their intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, but out of tradition, or even worse, without ever having known the new birth (John 3:1-21), which consists of : “repentance, the renunciation of oneself in order to allow oneself to be guided all the rest of one’s life by the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit), and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as one’s personal Lord and Saviour; an act which is confirmed by baptism by immersion in water (Matthew 3:1-16, Luke 3:1-22), which symbolises the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ by which the Christian is reconciled to God and receives the assurance of salvation and eternal life”. Not to mention all the movements that totally deviate from the teachings of the Bible, such as the teaching on the end of the action of the Holy Spirit, the acceptance of polygamy, paedophilia, pederasty by God… etc. Or all those who say they are Christian but lead a life full of all types of sin (fornication, adultery, hatred, lies, masturbation, pornography… etc.). On this subject the Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 7: 21-23 “Not everyone who calls Me Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of My Father (God) who is in heaven”.In fact God can use whomever he wants to heal, speak, console, and fulfil all desires to be fulfilled; but he who belongs to God is the one who is born again and walks in the voices of God. In view of all the above, the Christian population that truly lives a life of faith in the light of God’s word in the Bible could be reduced to only half or even less. This means that out of 7.5 billion Christians worldwide, only about 1 billion live a pure faith, only 14.3%, perhaps even less.
With this in mind, it is clear that the work to be done to save souls and lead them to God is more than enormous, it is even frightening, when we see how visible the signs of the end of the world and the return of Jesus Christ for judgement are. The idea of the concept of evangelists on the way is to be like the seventy-two evangelists that Jesus Christ sent before him in Luke 10:1-12; to bring the good news of the kingdom of heaven to all peoples and to win souls for the kingdom of God, which is the first mission and priority of every true evangelist (a Christian maker). The Word of God in the Bible teaches us that man is made up of flesh, soul and spirit. However man was separated from God because of his disobedience to God (sin); and after the death of the flesh (body) in order for the soul and the spirit to return to God, he must have made this free choice at the time of his life on earth to return to God through the new birth; otherwise not to have made this choice is to have indirectly made the choice to follow the devil who drove man to disobedience to God, in the place that was designed by God to punish him for his wickedness, his choice of destruction and defiance of God; this place is called hell (lake of fire).
Evangelists on the way are triggers of revival and soul winners for the kingdom of God. They are sent all over the world for this one mission. They are people who dedicate their lives to this mission and live only from the gifts of the faithful and the support of Christ Love associations and churches. They follow in the footsteps of people like Billy Graham, Reinhard Bonnke and many other evangelists who have made their mark on their time by winning hundreds of thousands of souls.
If you too have a special burden for souls, you want to become a full time evangelist, but you are finding it difficult to establish your ministry, if the concept of evangelists on the way speaks to you, then contact us and together we will achieve great things.
If, on the other hand, you are not called to be an evangelist, but you love what we do and you want to support our actions in the service of the gospel and the love of God, then you can become a partner of our association or simply make a donation to our association. Thank you in advance and may the Lord give it to you a hundredfold.
